A rare and complicated operation has been successfully performed with a robot at Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center on a 13-year-old boy born with a serious defect in his digestive system. The hospital promises that the technique will soon be used to perform similar surgery on toddlers.

Israel launches Ofek 10 radar-based spy satellite

IAI and Defense Ministry launch satellite that can take photos of Earth targets irrespective of weather conditions.

The Defense Ministry and Israeli Aircraft Industries launch a spy satellite into orbit from Palmahim Air Base on Wednesday night.

The satellite, called Ofek 10, uses radar systems for observation.

Tel Aviv adaptation of hit song "Happy" was chosen by singer Pharrell Williams to take part in the UN’s International Day of Happiness.

When the non-profit news and educational organization ISRAEL21c took a camera out onto the streets of Tel Aviv to film its own version of the Pharrell Williams Academy Award-winning song “Happy,” its goal was to create a feelgood video that would give people abroad a different view of the city.
